Tikva Wolf comes from a long line of love-activists and has been drawing ever since she could hold a crayon. What she primarily cares about in art (and life) is connecting to people, creating dialogue, and spreading awareness. She is the creator of the popular webcomic about polyamory + LGBTQ issues: Kimchi Cuddles (http://KimchiCuddles.com) and author of the graphic novels: Ask Me About Polyamory (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DQ20WD8) and Love, Retold (coming out in 2017).
Asheville Writers in the Schools and Community
provides creative, innovative writing and arts programs to affirm imagination and community while building critical literacy skills. Children, teens and families who are too often overlooked and unheard are inspired to share their voices and power to create a more just and equitable world.
Check out this anthology from one of our Family Voices program, where 3rd graders and their families gather each week for a meal and writing together. Or, check out our the just-launchd bilingual, online magazine visioned, created and led by youth of color, Word on the Street/La Voz de Los Jovenes.
